We are a non-profit organization rescuing cats and kittens in San Diego and surrounding areas. All adoption fees are exclusively to cover medical treatment and fostering care.

All our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, are up-to-date with vaccines, have been microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and have been raised with love by our amazing fosters.

We provide all current medical records during the adoption process.

Peanut was rescued from the parking lot of a high-kill So Cal shelter in June 2018. Her guardian angels were a 6 year old girl who found Peanut wandering by herself, and the girl’s babysitter. The pair were turned away from the shelter and told to go to another shelter as Peanut was not found in the area they serviced. The babysitter was distraught at the shelter not accepting the kitten. As Peanut was less than 2 weeks old, Jackie, who was at the shelter pulling other cats for rescue, knew the reputation of the other shelter, and that Peanut would almost certainly be euthanized on admission to the shelter as she was unable to eat on her own.

Jackie brought Peanut home and bottle fed her until she was able to eat on her own. Peanut became a fast favorite of both Ty and Jackie due to her being a singleton and a sweetheart!

Peanut, who’s new name is Tofu, was adopted by her forever family in September 2018. She resides with her loving human ‘parents’ and adopted cat ‘sister.’  Tofu’s favorite activities include begging for food, especially cheese; burrowing under the bedsheets, and sleeping on freshly dried laundry.

Tofu (Peanut) has grown into a beautiful cat who will be loved and remembered by us always!
